House Wine
"What you think of this wine will all depend on what you are expecting, as well as understanding that you are not going into a more refined experience. First off, it doesn't come off as being a Pinot Noir to me. I'm use to most Pinot Noirs being mostly dry but with an ever so slight hint of sweetness. Also, I find they can have a luscious cherry or fruitiness to them, but just a little. None of these things were present with this. Now that would normally be a sign of something that I would like because I don't like sweet wines, nor am I all that fond of fruity wines. Sadly, this could have benefitted from those flavors. It's a dry red that, to me, tasted like a house wine. Not great, but drinkable when on a tight budget. And honestly, that's what this was to me. Price wise, this was offered pretty much at the bottom end, and tasted as what one might expect in that price range. Better off with a meal and fine for cooking if you just can't get through the bottle. I'll finish off the bottle, but won't reorder this one."
