"Firstly, really disappointed that this wine no longer ships to my state. Seriously, what the what? That aside, this is a great Cabernet Sauvignon. Cabs have a rep for being intense, smokey, even tasting like tobacco or leather (thank you, tannins!). This one is definitely dry and is strong, flavor-wise. But I didn't find it to be overwhelming in terms of tannins. If anything, it was surprisingly fruity; blackberries, raspberries, tannins too. But it was smooth and balanced. Not what one would expect for a cab. Good "intro" cab."

"This one has great flavor. It is dry, but does not feel like you’re chewing on wood. The only annoying part, but not annoying enough for me to change the rating because the flavor of this wine is definitely worth it, is the packaging. It has wax over the cork area, and it’s kind of a pain in the butt to get off."
