Taste was off/syrupy

Saké is a drink that defies easy comparison. Though it has similarities to wine, beer, and liquor, it truly is a style all its own. Made with an eye towards value and drinkability, Futsü-shu saké is the everyday drink for millions of people in Japan, and it’s no wonder it’s so popular. Bursting with umami flavors, the nose on this shows roasted nuts, citrus and tropical fruit, and flowers. Saké is, of course, a classic with Japanese food, but you can actually branch out much further when considering food pairings. Since Lucky Look is a lighter style, pair this like you would a minerally white wine - it’s ideal with shellfish, small bites, or fried snacks.

"Not what I expected and disappointed at the heavy tequila-like taste honestly :( I actually thought the bottle went bad and threw out the first one and opened the second one ordered to only be met with the same disappointing taste. I will try a different sake offered by Winc though and not let my first but keep me from buying sake through this distributor!"
"I worked for a Japanese company and enjoyed the cuisine and cold sake."
