Some might say Marlborough ruined Sauvignon Blanc. After all, once you taste a Sauvy B this zesty and intense, everything else just feels inferior. With the 2024 Apopo Sauvignon Blanc, grapefruit, lime, and nectarine notes jump out first, followed by a minerally finish that keeps this wine from tipping into fruit juice territory. It’s dry, medium-bodied, and critic-approved (93 points, if you're into that sort of thing). But you don’t even need a review to tell you it’s good—you just need one sip. Chill it ‘til it’s cool and crispy, then serve with sushi, shrimp, or your fav Thai takeout dish.
