"Upon the first sip, for me, the taste reminded me of a raw egg or pork flavor. For my brother, it tasted metallic, reminding him of pennies and the metallic taste from blood. After trying it again, the wine was okay. I disagree with the vanilla & spice notes. It does contain more of the cherry & cranberry notes. We really did not enjoy this wine."

"I either do not like Pinot Noir or this one also missed the mark. It fell flat for me, like air had gotten into the bottle. It tasted old to me, like the bottle had been opened, recorked and then left for a month."
