Back when miners chased fortunes out west, a tough-as-nails sheriff kept order in a small town. Today, travelers swear that his ghost still roams the town’s streets. Forgotten Lore is a bottle dedicated to the stories left behind and reminds us that the past doesn’t always stay buried. Like a campfire, smoky and earthy notes waft out the bottle when you uncork this California Syrah. Combined with flavors of juicy black cherry, this wine is one you can really sink into. It’s elegant, but still a crowd pleaser, pairing well with all sorts of cowboy fare like smoked ribs, pulled pork, or slow cooked beef.
